Last updated: 27 May 2026
This policy explains how Spectral Electronics S.L.U. ("we", "us") processes personal data collected through spectralelectronics.com, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).
Data controller
Spectral Electronics S.L.U., Avenida Novo Mesoiro 2, Bajo, 15190, La Coruña, Spain. Tax ID (CIF): B26887455. Contact: info@spectralelectronics.com.
What data we collect
Contact form submissions: name, email address, company (optional), and the message you send us. Server logs: IP address, user agent, timestamp and requested URL, kept for security and abuse prevention. Anonymous analytics: aggregated usage data through PostHog only when you accept cookies.
Purposes and legal basis
We process contact data to reply to your enquiry and evaluate a possible engagement, on the legal basis of taking pre-contractual steps at your request (GDPR Art. 6.1.b) and our legitimate interest in responding to business contacts (Art. 6.1.f). Analytics are processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6.1.a), which you can withdraw at any time.
Data retention
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months after the last interaction, unless an engagement is signed, in which case it is retained for the duration of the contract plus the legal statute of limitations. Server logs are kept for up to 12 months. Analytics events are retained per PostHog's defaults.
Recipients and processors
We do not sell personal data. We rely on trusted processors acting under data processing agreements: email delivery and notifications (Resend), hosting and serverless runtime (Cloudflare), backend and database (Supabase, hosted in the EU where available), product analytics (PostHog) and bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). Some providers may transfer data outside the EU under Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure an adequate level of protection through European Commission adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary measures where required.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You can exercise any of these rights by writing to info@spectralelectronics.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, including encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege architecture.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or in applicable law. The date at the top of this page indicates the last revision.
